EDUCATION COMMITTEE REPORT
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL Teach Me to Pray, led by Jeanne Knepper, will continue for March 12 and 19 and April 2 and 9. There will not be an adult Sunday School class on Easter Sunday, April 16. There will be a children’s Easter egg hunt on the Bell Tower Lawn after worship. April 23, Mighty Times, a 40-minute film about Rosa Parks, followed by discussion.
FORUMS 3/28—Church Camping for children and adults, led by Lisa Jean Hoefner 4/30--Estate planning led by Richard Schneider, a Portland Estate attorney. yet to be confirmed.
CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL Jennifer will lead children’s Sunday School through April 16, after which she plans maternity leave. Deb Moseley will fill in while Jennifer is on leave. We are asking volunteers who would be willing to be part of a Sunday School rotation while Jennifer is on leave to speak with Jennifer, Deb Moseley, or Jeanne. On March 19, Deb Moseley will lead a class to teach children how to be acolytes. the class will meet in the sanctuary at 11:30am.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Judy Griffen and Jeanne Knepper will research and submit a plan for VBS to the April Education Meeting. Possible schedules could be 6 Wednesdays or 3 Wed/Thursday dates from 11am to 2pm. We would need additional volunteers to make this happen.
